For the studying of Vinylinum effect on the burns we supervised 11 patients. 7 of them had thermal burns, 4 of them had chemical burns. . Из них 7 человек были с термическими ожогами и 4 с химическими. The prescription of injury was from 8 hours up to 21 days.
Blood of all patents was tested regularly before the start of curing and every 5 days after that. It showed that the expansion in number of leukocytes. The following reduction goes down gradually. It gets the norm to the 17th-20th day from the start of Vinylinum administration. Usually it coincides with an adhesion.
The pure form of Vinylinum is administrated. It is used for moistening of the injured surface after the preliminary cleansing of the tissue surrounding and rupturing of the blisters with serous fluid. Then Vinylinum moistened dressing (gauze) is made. It is changed in 2-3 days. (The open way of treatment can be used successfully). It was noticed that the purulence massive scab that took place before the Balsam administration, smoothed in 16-24 hours. It was easy taken off with the dressing not injuring the granulation and epithelization and causing no pain. There were no scab at the following dressings change. The further healing process went on in the humid environment. Pink epithelium formed not only at periphery but in the center of granulating surface in the way of singular areas and intersections.
The deeper damage areas (III level) were healed with the appearance of tender, soft non tensing scars. The functions of the wounded organs were not broken. There were no contracture formations.
There were no monitoring. In some casers the bacteriologic tests were done for the availability of streptococcus and staphylococcus to be checked. The urine analyses showed the normal results in all cases. Regime and diet of the patients were common. It should be pointed out that there were no complications or painful conditions of the organism even at the long term usage of Vinylinum pure form on the large wounded areas within the whole period of the balsam administration .
