Application

In medicine

- the pure form called Vinylinum orBalsam Schostakowsky or poly vinyl butyl ether - as a component of various sprays (Vinysolum), ointments, solutio oleosa, suppositories.

Pharmacological effect: has bacteriostatic effect, wound healing effect and promotes epithelization.

Indication:
Adventive: furunculosis , carbuncle, Trophic ulcers, septic wounds, mastitis, soft parts wounds, burns, frostbites and inflammatory diseases of skin .
Oral: gastritis with hyperacidity, peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum, colitis, epigastric burning.
Per rectum: (through rectal tube): dysentery, colitis.

Contra indications: Hyper sensibility.

Mode of administration and dosis: adventive, orally, per rectum.
Adventive: pure form and in the condition of ointments and solutio oleosa of different concentration is used for humectation of tissues and application of the wounded surface.

Oral: Once per day in 5-6 hours after the last food acceptance (light dinner is recommended at 18 o’clock and taking of remedy at 23-24 o‘clock); for peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum - 3 capsules or 1 tea spoon of substance the first day, all the other days - 5 capsules per day (1 dessert spoon); course of treatment - 16-20 days; for gastritis with hyperacidity and frank epigastric burning - the first day - 1 tea spoon, further on - 1 dessert spoon every alternate day, course of treatment 10-12 days.
Per rectum: (through rectal tube) it is instilled by increased doses 25-30-40 ml 3-9 days.
